Leech Lake Smallmouth Bass fishing has never been better, one of my favorite species to catch. I can now confidently guide clients to quality smallmouth from opener in May through October, for those who love these brown feisty fish. Smallmouth trips can also be combined with Largemouth and Walleye fishing to give you the most bites for your bucks!

I am Captain Philip Bauerly and Leech Lake fishing is my life-long passion. I have been chasing the mighty Muskellunge for thirty years now, and for the past nineteen, I have resided here on beautiful Leech Lake. You'll be fishing some of the most productive Muskie, Bass or Walleye water in the Lake, and you can sample and learn techniques that just plain work here.

Come and explore Leech Lake area waters in my 2022 Skeeter SX2250. It's the perfect multi-species platform for casting the big baits for Muskies or pitching jigs and crankbaits for Bass or Walleyes.
